My name is Mike Dickey.  My passion for motorcycles started early when my father, Ron Dickey, introduced me to my first at age 5 in 1977.  The motorcycle was an Indian Mini 2-cycle with training wheels.  My father raced motorcycles all his life.  From Bultacos to Kawasaki Z1s.  He owned a Kawasaki franchise and service shop.  In 1981, my father bought me a Honda ATC 70 three wheeler.  Of course, it didn't stay stock for long.  I raced it in a 110cc and larger class and won many races.  At age 11, I started racing a Kawasaki KX80.  Less than a year later my parents divorced and the racing ended.  Shortly after, my father gave me a Kawasaki AR80 2-cycle streetbike.  I rode it to middle school and I didn't even have a license.  In 2003, my step-brother bought a 2003 Suzuki Hayabusa.  I rode it and needless to say, I was hooked.  I saved my money and bought my 2003 Orange and Black Anniversary Hayabusa in October 2003.  I ran very respectively at stock wheelbase with no power adder.  That bike evolved into the Prostreet bike I have now.  I have learned a lot over the years and strive to continue learning.  I thank God for every day and every skill he has given me.
